Why don't the F.A. do tit for tat and create a new pyramid excluding the delusioned 6. No way back for them.
Probably considerably less money for the remaining 86 clubs but is that a bad thing.

you almost sound happy or agree with it happening?
nope im not..i wish football was less about money and hate competitions with no relegation..but i thought a super league was inevitable for decades..
i do find the audacity of them doing this fasvinating though.

it is when the other clubs have contractual obligations to pay players at thecurrent level.

The FA will back down on this and let them still compete in the premiership. They know that the big clubs are a draw, and they know without the international fans of Man United etc signing up for TV contracts to watch their team, TV deals and sponsorship revenue will fall dramatically.

Reduced income in the premiership means financial crisis for many clubs and the FA won't want that.

The Super League will happen I suspect, but I don't think for one minute the FA will ban the cash cow clubs from playing in the Premier League.
This is what I fear....the FA should have some balls and kick them out else they will just take even more in the future.

A line in the sand needs to be drawn.

It doesn't matter how much they get, it's never going to be enough for the greedy b*stards.

Time to draw the line now, call their bluff and tell them to f**k off.

Then tell them they're not allowed back once they've left, not even if they work their way up from the lowest tier.
That would be great. The court of arbitration would probably rule it unlawful though.

How would you seriously react if this proposal goes through? Change teams? Protest, but go to matches?
I’m not sure myself, to be honest.
If they're kicked out of the PL they'll lose a lot of match-going support.

What's the point in supporting Liverpool when there's no longer a derby against Everton to look forward to?

Maybe some of them will actually start supporting their local teams instead of travelling halfway across the country to watch them play AC Milan for the umpteenth time.

It's written in the PL rules that the PL have to allow its members to join other comps.

They've ignored that, so must therefore want out of the PL. Off they go, don't let the door hit you etc etc.

They've made it clear that match going fans are an irrelevance - legacy fans, they call us.

pl clubs join other comps every year...poxy cups played abroad that are pre season friendlies..you telling e they ask forpermission fot that?

The signatures must have already been dry weeks ago on the agreement of joining this league. The signatures also on any potential TV contracts and revenues... I cannot see this being thought up overnight with the 'prospect' of getting a few quid more whilst also knowing the potential of being removed from your respective domestic leagues

Kick them out, and put 6 up throughout the leagues. I think the majority of other clubs would jump at this chance of a level playing field.
