are they not getting arond that by letting new teams into every year, even if not permanent mebers?

the financials are amaing.. 200-300m upfront welcome bonus..
ew company created in spain will own the league..with the clubs as shareholders..

they think they can get 4 billion a year TV money..which is more than twice whT THEY get from champions league..
but give 400 million back to the leagues they are coming from to distribute among the clubs as now..

you almost sound happy or agree with it happening?

Its a fact, went to Anfield and Old Trafford a few years ago, masses of tourists. The local airports are full of fans flying in to watch games. Wouldnt be surprised if its 70/30 split in favour of local fans.

I got lost walking back from Anfield to the train station, I asked about fifteen people all around me and not one knew the way as they were all "tourists". Same game I saw a lady walking out of the stadium at the end as part of what looked like a tour group, wearing an Everton beanie hat. I have nowt against them, or even against Liverpool as a club for offering those package deals to attract fans and selling the club as a one-off "experience". I just feel sad for the average fan from Liverpool who is priced out, or when they can get there has a diluted atmosphere in the stadium.

Dont know of its been discussed but if theres any chance for Rangers and Celtic to join, they would be all over it I would say

I don't think it'll happen. However what I can see happening is these 6 clubs getting a deal that sees them have a say in who broadcasts their games and a bigger chunk of the cash.

They can't be allowed to continue in the PL.

It'll just make a mockery of the competition if those six have already qualified for their own private European competition before a ball has been kicked.

UEFA and FIFA should bar them from all their competitions as well.

They can then play each other until the end of time as the broadcasters slowly lose interest in the whole fiasco.

Why should Spurs and Arsenal be getting any more than the likes of Everton and Leicester?

Good question. I would be heartbroken in the first instance. But how hard would it be to just pick a new team or stop supporting who you love. Its awful on so many levels.

Thats the key point for me. If this were Sunderland, then the club I love would be completely dead and my connection with them would be destroyed forever. I would support a local non league side, or get involved in starting a phoenix club. In that scenario, Sunderland AFC would be completely dead to me.

It doesn't matter how much they get, it's never going to be enough for the greedy b*stards.

Time to draw the line now, call their bluff and tell them to f**k off.

Then tell them they're not allowed back once they've left, not even if they work their way up from the lowest tier.
