Interesting comments from an unnamed board member of 1 of the 6. Apparently owners want less football. Not arsed if footballers are banned from International football. Super League will take precedence over the premier league, Increasing income is the number 1 aim

those comments on SSN shows they really couldn’t care less. All about money, nothing else matters

It's a prima facie breach of competition law.
are they not getting arond that by letting new teams into every year, even if not permanent mebers?

the financials are amaing.. 200-300m upfront welcome bonus..
ew company created in spain will own the league..with the clubs as shareholders..

they think they can get 4 billion a year TV money..which is more than twice whT THEY get from champions league..
but give 400 million back to the leagues they are coming from to distribute among the clubs as now..

From what I've seen, the greatest support for it are from people who have never even set foot in the UK never mind the home ground.
I can believe that. I live in the states and dread the idea of a closed system In football. I’ve been a massive fan of promotion/relegation and always will be. Greed is the sole reason behind this and these owners don’t want anyone dipping into their pot.

I personally think I'm just about done with EPL for the season. Not interested in following the big teams for now. Give me WBA, Fulham, Wolves etc instead

what on earth have fans got to do with it?
Nowt.

It's nice to see, but it's absolutely obviously clear this has nothing to do with fans. These billionaires are on another planet. The FA let this happen by letting these ***** into the game in the first place. The only way to fix this now is to get political. There needs to be political actions on the clubs in the English game for regulation.

Fans wont have a say though... we havent had a say for years.... if you get 1 million fee paying TV viewers at £10 a game or 40K season ticket holders, as a shareholder which set of 'fans' would you appease?
Should be listening to Simon Jordan on Talksport and Danny Murphy, they both saying it wont go ahead.
