The football what f***ing football, I hated Jose Mourinho style of football long before he joined us and I hated virtually all of the shit that he dished up during his time at `Spurs even when we were winning apart from a few games.

I was absolutely delighted when he got the sack, I was literally jealous when watching Leicester City, Fulham, Brighton, or Leeds and most other teams it is the worst football that I have ever seen as a Spurs fan.

Some of Spurs players have been absolute pricks as well, they downed tools months ago, they have been taking the piss out of the club and our fans by not giving their all.

Pochettino was great fantastic football and mostly great times and good results, but the players turned on him at the end as well.
You've pretty much devalued everything else you can say in this thread by the little comment of "but being a Sunderland fan I guess you are in a great position to take the piss out of a little club like Spurs aren’t you."

You became irrelevant when Salford City were taken over by the class of 92. Every post you have sent says you deserve it.
I think you miss the point of FCUM (and I no longer have anything to do with the club) it's not about being 'relevant' to the members and supporters, it's about having a club they call their own to and support with a day on the drink with their mates. When cup matches got rescheluled away from 3pm Saturday for TV the members/owners revolted and changed the board make up.

Big deal. Every club does that to some extent.
Doesn't alter the fact that Everton were fully on board when the PL breakaway happened. You give a shit now because you aren't invited to the party.

Yes, we were behind the formation of the PL and there's a lot wrong with the model, I don't think you'd get any match going supporter disagreeing. But it's still an open competition which is the point.

I don't want EFC to be part of any SL even if we were invited. The supporters of all six involved are all united in being against the idea. You think I'm bothered as we're not included and yet again you are totally wrong. English football will continue, there will always be a top tier and I hope we'd always be a part of it. But what I do care about is having some teams who aren't invested in games/results ecause they don't matter to them. That is the crux and where the distortion comes in. Incidentally it'll be the same in the SL, the majority of games will be dead rubbers, so competition is strangled in both. That's what concerns me.

See. It is a game. Its not monopoly but a game nonetheless. Show me one single goal for Spurs scored by a wad of £20 notes. Money has won you nothing.

I think city will pull out. They are winning things and don't need the money.
I agree, I think Chelsea will also. The fans own the freehold of the ground and the name 'Chelsea FC' i believe, they would have to rebrand and move if the fans really have the balls to throw spanners around.

They simply need to be told either renege on your decision and contract to join the ESL. You have one week and if it doesn't happen then you are removed from the Premier League, The FA and the EFL. Been them for five years, if they still don't remove themselves after a year then they are banned indefinitely and for a minimum ten years.
The players are then told if they ever want to play English football again it even plan on becoming coaches they do not sign any contacts with these clubs after today, if they do they are banned for life at every level of football. They also have their registrations cancelled so if they want to leave these clubs they are able to do so without needing to wait for a transfer fee to be paid for them. Just like i can leave my contacted job tomorrow if I want to and get another job.
Then they need to have the actual balls to carry this out.

Nice little snidey remark there.

Enjoy your Franchise.

Spurs are a big fish in the PL, let's call them a porpoise. When the porpoise has served it's purpose, establishment of a league above the current national competitions, then the Real Madrid sharks in the water will need something else to eat and we will have the Singapore Hotspurs or something similar and White Hart Lane will be re-porpoised to host American Football in UK I imagine.

A lot drifted towards Salford. Your gates went down equal to theirs rising as they went up the league.

It'll be Man City. They don't need this shit and can save face by being the first team to pull out. If they do the whole thing collapses

Was actually surprised they signed up in the first place. They have gate crashed the top 4 themselves and dealt with the 'not a big club' comments for years before they made it. I always had a bit of respect for city before all this.

I give you; Gareth Bale paid £86m in transfer fee and wages of €692,660 per week, Eden Hazard £89m transfer fee and £416,000 a week in wages. Don't know if that isn't that much to you, but it seems a bloody big amount to me.
and this is exactly why they need to get their hands on more money. Problem is that when they get more, they’ll just buy players for £150m and pay them £1m per week. They’ll never understand how they keep getting into such a state and will be pushing for a world league to bail them out next time.

That's a one-off hit. It doesn't need Christ knows how much money over 23 years to claw that back. Blaming Covid is a classic deflection technique, and the owners know this.
I wasn’t defending that fact what you are saying is clearly true and obvious, I was simply pointing out that the £150m gate receipts was not fictional income as another poster had wrongly suggested.

Be interesting that if a club pulls out and says that they were lied to, what they claim they were told?

especially if they’ve signed a contract for 23 years, when I’m sure that the contract would be scrutinised to an inch.
