Hypothetically speaking, if that were to happen, how long would it be before one of the 12 would be complaining about the number of fixtures they have scheduled?!

Seriously deluded that they think they can get away with this without repercussions and I've not a clue what Tottenham and Arsenal think they're doing, they'd get pezzled week in and week out as things stand.

Right, so Usmanov's involvement invalidates every single thing that EiTC do? It's a world class organisation and supports literally thousands of vunerable people. But again, like the Friday night blert ignore the real issue being debated. Idiot.

Record Year Enables EitC To Directly Support More Than 45,000 People
Big deal. Every club does that to some extent.
Doesn't alter the fact that Everton were fully on board when the PL breakaway happened. You give a shit now because you aren't invited to the party.

Spurs seem to be the "lucky" team, on the way down, sacking manager, unsettled striker and slim chance of Europe..... Get offered a no relegation super league with a £300+million pay day. The owners hardly going to say no.

They've got to pay for that new stadium somehow. But like you said, they’re shitting themselves with losing their biggest assets in Kane and Son. Still a shithouse move like.

No you are talking shit mate, how is the £150m fictional ffs, fact is Spurs will generate over £100m from football alone during any normal season, so were the 2 NFL games at our stadium fictional then there were Saracens rugby games an Anthony, Joshua fight at least 3 concerts plus others that I have forgotten about, they were postponed 100% down to COVID-19 restrictions so those events were not fictional at all they were simply postponed hence the loss of revenue.

£150m of lost income is not a small part of Spurs income and to say that is idiotic.
What do you think about the football? What difference did you see in the style of play between Pochettino and Mourinho? Talk about football.

Where it once was one?

We've just had two transfer windows absolutely scuttled by a salary cap. Salary caps aren't the answer.
Well I was more thinking about the big boys, stopping the ridiculous wages, no one on stupid money.
Have a ceiling of about I dunno 30 grand a week.

Even if you strip everything away, all the arguments etc, the very fact they refer to their current fans, as well as the rest of us 'legacy fans' should be enough for everyone to realise exactly what is wrong with this, and how little these arrogant self entitled wankers think of us.
You lot wanted to be part of it when Sir John Hall was owner, he was talking about a Euro Super League and a World Super League when you were challenging Man U for the title, but now you’re shite and have no chance you’re complaining haha

Thats the motivation for a few clubs. They are bothered they missed the bus, not the fact the bus exists.

It's utterly pathetic. Leeds wanted to play in the champions league. Didn't make it and as a result ended up in league one. Who man United think they are?

Ferguson was a good guy and a real football man, but it was disappointing at the time he shunned the fc United movement and disappointment of the man u fans at the time..

They (we) could see this sort of rubbish coming back then. The writing has been on the wall for some time
Ferguson was a good guy? WTF? They’re still on tenterhooks at the bbc every time the postman turns up.

This may well be bullshit but it came from a friend of a friend who was present at the meeting Woodward held with the players and staff yesterday. Woodward mentioned the club debt and asked all the players if they pulled out of the ESL who would be prepared to tear up their current contracts and resign new ones at 50% of the wages. Surprise, Surprise there was a stony silence from the players.

To be fair, again that's targeting the wrong person. All fans need to be standing together on this. We have no idea what this lad thought about it at the time. I get that some might be hypocritical but what matters now is that our anger is focused on the right people (the owners) and that something is done to prevent this kind of an attempt from ever being made again. Going down the route of slagging off mags, or spurs fans or whatever doesn't help anyone
