EURO 2024 Tickets

Do you both have ESTC memberships? You should of had an email today with the results. It will either say under each of the group games what stage sale you are in. @Rip Van Fish will probably be able to expand on it. But you had to apply last week for both you and your son

I did I applied got 2x tickets for all games I've got 2 emails one had my ballot results which are good the other with my sons FAN number has none

Got my Scotland tickets this morning all fans first €110 for the 3 matches in total which is decent, makes up for the flight out being pricey. Still haven’t booked a flight home yet.
Unfortunately I was on 11 points so ended up with all 3 still but 400 euros for Germany match 150 euros for Swiss and Hungary match. Just got to sort out travel and accommodation, going to be an expensive trip but worth it after waiting so long to make a major tournament.

We are going out to Munich on the day of the Germany game from Edinburgh via Geneva. Coming back from Frankfurt via Paris day after Hungary. We have an air bnb in Frankfurt for the 10 days and have booked hotels in Munich and Cologne for match days. We just need to book our internal trains in January. Looking forward to it. All in so far as think I’m roughly at £1000.

No point booking trains in Jan when a one month ticket is only 49 euros

Do you know if this covers all trains in Germany? Apart from the ICE trains I believe
It doesn't cover ICE, IC & EC or private operators such as Flixtrain. It does cover all S-Bahn, Regio Bahn (RB) Regio Express (RE), U-Bahn, Trams, & local buses throughout Germany. You'll need to setup an account here. But be careful as its one of those recurring patments unless you cancel.

If you want to book the fast trains, they are €29.90 from anywhere in Germany if you have a match ticket. These can be booked 180 days in advance and may be a better option if you are travelling long distances.

Will these be valid on match days only?

Not sure. It doesn't say that they are only valid on match days:

Point-to-point tickets

The special Euro 2024 point-to-point tickets being offered by Deutsche Bahn for match ticket holders let you travel from anywhere in Germany to the match venue for €29.90 in second class or €39.90 in first class. The tickets include a seat reservation.

Note: These tickets entitle you to travel ONLY on the train(s) that you specify at the time of booking. If, for instance, you miss the train, you cannot use the ticket on the next one. These tickets are also not refundable.

For every match ticket you possess, you can buy two train tickets (one to the host city and one away from it).

These tickets can be purchased 180 days in advance on the Deutsche Bahn website for any date between 12 June and 16 July 2024.

Note: The special Euro 2024 ticket prices may NOT be the cheapest fare available for any given trip. If a cheaper fare is available, the Deutsche Bahn website will show you this at the point of booking. If you buy a ticket at that cheaper fare, you will, of course, not need to show your Fan Pass during any ticket inspection.

On sale from 17 January.

Loads of detail here.
That site does not mention the point to point tickets but they are mentioned here:
