Eric Roy (managerial suggestion)

I was at Walsall when he scored his only goal for us in a 5-0 League Cup win in September 1999. I'm sure Carsten Fredgaard scored two that evening and a Brazilian centre forward whose name escapes me came on as a second half substitute and never played again. Oh and we got free chicken balti pies at the end. I digress ...

He was a lovely midfield player with a delightful touch but unfortunately not a Peter Reid player. His best game for us was in that 4-1 victory of Chelsea when he partnered Paul Thirlwell in the centre midfield and danced into the box to set Niall Quinn up for a first minute goal which set the tone for what was a wonderful afternoon.

Bica was the Brazilian, trialist. Marcos Di Giuseppe I think his full name was.

Was a stupid thing to remember.
