Newcastle seconds at Jesmond marra.They would be top 5 in our firsts league I recon smashed us for 212 off 20 we batted respectaly for about 118 their first change bowler was sending it down about 80 mile an hour :shock: Our youngun got 28 next best about 15ish runs we're worth double tho playing that standard of team
 
Heard the bowlers got their ball bust:shock: they need a young leg spinner :-) shame he never gets picked :cry:.. Or does with 5 minutes to go.. Then we could spread the carnage among the team...

That's exactly was was needed mate pace off the ball they just smashed it when it was pitched up. Bizarre surface mind
 
The little fella enjoyed his first midweek game :lol: took his usual 3 wickets then opened the batting with flip my oldest buddy 36 years between them young fella was amazed as he trashed it all over... Whitburn scored 128.. We were 101-3 after 11 Needing 28 in 9 and got beat:-x:-x

Former Sunderland AFC hero Dickie Ord has signed for Eppleton and joins his son Charlie in the second against South Hetton at Eppleton Today.

Dickie played county cricket as a junior:-D

Eppleton were on the receiving end of a Josh Coughlin double hundred in today's NEPL under 15 game

Hetton Lyons 316 - 3 in 40 overs Eppleton 160 all out

Great win tonight by Eppleton 1st Team. Semi Fianal of Hedworth Williamson Cup at Brandon. Brandon 129 in 20 overs Eppleton 130 for 2 in 18.2 overs. Kyle Davis 49 no. Good 20 odd knocks from Graham Hoban & Calum Jefferson saw Eppleton home against a strong Brandon team which included Turner, Brathwaite, Pearith, Watson & Carmedy.
Well done boys fully deserved victory.
 
Congratulations chaps. Wasn't there, couldn't be there, but it seems a very well deserved victory. Who do you play in the final?

I tell you what you must have one of the best cricket websites going. Someone puts a lot of effort in.

Tell me. John Smithson is the "John Smithson" many years in local cricket. Will be about 50/51? Ex pit sparky? If it is looking at his picture i hardly recognise him. He's certainly packing some timber mind8-)

Eppleton play either Whitburn or Washington in the final that game is to be played on Tuesday night at Whitburn
