Entry level camera

Anyone recommend an entry level digital camera for around £100 or less for a 10 yr old? Needs to have video function as well.

Fully automatic "point and shoot" for snapshots? Or are you looking for something they can be a bit more creative with?

I just bought a Canon 1100D from fleabay, with 18-55mm and a canon bag for £128. Funnily enough for a 10 year old, not too keen on her playing with my gear although she managed my 7dmk2 with a sigma 150-600 attached!

She's like a stick insect! I couldn't believe she carried it over a mile before she wanted a rest. Delighted that she wants to take photos though

what about something like a used lumix g3

micro four thirds so not big or heavy. can point and shoot if required, but you can also begin to tinker with things , plus the sensor will be better than many entry level point and shots cameras

does lovely macro shots and should be pretty darn cheap (if you can find one)
