Ozturk is rubbish tbf.
He was still our best centre back over the last couple of months of the season, sadly.

big part of the problem was-the CBs just launched it long and conceded possesion-or gave it short to someone who launched it long-and that gave possesion away as well. You are right, that was also an issue. Having to play 2 defensive midfielders just made the problem worse.
Like I said it caused a disconnect between the midfield and the forwards. Gave opposition teams the chance to press in midfield so the only space was further up the pitch, hence the hoofs up front to an unsupported Wyke / Grigg.big part of the problem was-the CBs just launched it long and conceded possesion-or gave it short to someone who launched it long-and that gave possesion away as well.
Frick the owners, frick their holes. They lie, swear, and dupe far too much than we are willing to accept.
Are you allowed out on your own?Frick the owners, frick their holes. They lie, swear, and dupe far too much than we are willing to accept.
Good lordFrick the owners, frick their holes. They lie, swear, and dupe far too much than we are willing to accept.
Could be. The player I watched got off to a bad start, partly because of the presence of Loovens alongside him, but was much better later in the season. I'm not saying he's brilliant, and I dont like his holding at dead ball situations, but he's far from rubbish. Could we get better? Almost certainly yes, but we have worse.you must be watching a different player to me mate

I think there's a fair chance that Coventry game might end up being the last we seen of himBaldwin is finished. Headsgone
Incoherent and ill thought out . Presumably you typed that by banging your head on the keyboard and seeing what came out?Frick the owners, frick their holes. They lie, swear, and dupe far too much than we are willing to accept.

You need to post that on skunkers fellaFrick the owners, frick their holes. They lie, swear, and dupe far too much than we are willing to accept.
your confusing expensive with good again..we have alreadys igned a new cb WHO WONT HAVE BEEN cheap..We don't have the cash or wage headroom to go out and buy the kind of quality that will give us enough clean sheets to win automatic promotion. Those 1-1 draws cost us dear in the end. What we desperately need is a central defensive partnership that can inspire enough confidence to allow midfielders to get forward. A decent CB pairing should never be more than about 10 yards apart and be ready to cover each others (inevitable) mistakes all the time. I presume Willis is a nailed-on starter, so the question is who will work up a decent partnership with him. Battleship Loovens is sunk IMHO, so it's time for one of the others to step up now. Any money we do have to spend might be better used on another striker/No10, who can form a similarly productive partnership at the other end, but even that might not be necessary if we find the right combination from Grigg/ Wyke/ Maguire/ Embleton/ Watmore???
Or put the ball straight out of play....well Flanagan at least, but better than being caught in possession ala Baldwin.big part of the problem was-the CBs just launched it long and conceded possesion-or gave it short to someone who launched it long-and that gave possesion away as well.
I haven't said we need to spend more money; never, not now, not ever. Let alone again. I was suggesting we coach what we've got.your confusing expensive with good again..we have alreadys igned a new cb WHO WONT HAVE BEEN cheap..
Was he it was a shit game and they were barely testedSee that Souttar from Stoke is going to Fleetwood on a season long loan apparently. Was a standout defender when we played them in the checkatrade.
