One of the only players to come out with credit against the aussies....he actually seems in better form in t20 but cant break into the squad.

Ahmed might just be for experience...

Mahmood, wood, archer, woakes - decent and great mix of skills and pace.

He's played more than 50 games for England across all formats and averages less than 30, he's just not international class.

I think Ahmed will play, maybe not all of the games, but they seem keen for him to get as much exposure and conditions as possible

Good. f***ing sick of the ECB cramming as much cricket into every window as they can, hopefully if broadcasters even start rejecting it, the ECB will take the hint
