I don't care if you don't rate the players  I care that the selectors don't, yet they picked them anyway. Ive never demanded that they play, you have even seen me say I would pick Hales to bat alongside Cook. But if you're going to pick them as reserves they should pick other counties players so our team isn't annihilated for no reason other than for them to gain experience which they haven't because they didn't play.

Our players would benefit more with Gillespie than with Moores, simple as that. The likes of Finn have only worsened as they've worked with them, Rashid also regressed with them whilst Gillespie has helped Rashid and Plunkett back to their best.

My main annoyance though was that I think it's pathetic that Team England can't actually help us out a bit.

Anyway it's over now,and I'm just looking forward to seeing them back where they belong and hope England stay away from them.
You've made some valid points, mate. Not all of us hate Yorkshire!

You shouldn't ever take 4 reserves form one side they should have picked reserves from other counties so Yorkshire weren't decimated. Nobody has gained anything from it.

Where did I say I didn't rate the players?

I have never ever said that.

So next time England won't call up Yorkshire players unless they will definitely playing?

I don't hate Yorkshire, do you actually bother to read posts, grow up man

Half me family is from Yorkshire

Cheers mate, and I would say the same for any other county as well, even Lancashire....

You're just not going to encourage teams to want to produce talent if there is no give and take from both sides.

Agree. It almost seems as if the hierarchy don't really have any structured introduction plans for new players. That cannot be, surely? ;)

Not just Yorkshire but I don't think you should be calling up multiple reserves from one county to just do nothing. What I think they should have done in this case is call up Ballance, Root and one other Yorkshire player (Plunkett) as reserves with the rest of our players replaced by others. Obviously it won't be a problem now our games are in England, but in this case I thought they could have helped us a little as good gesture for producing good talent for the national side that's all.

I am not having ago at you mate, you are a fan and are spot on, you are looking after your interests

Just think it is poor by Yorkshire directors, I bet you Rashid and Lyth were delighted to be there in the selectors thoughts, they should of played at some point, but the reaction has been over the top.

yorkshire must be getting a canny whack of money from the ecb for thes call ups?
