Because we're a rigid team and any major changes will only have a negative effect. I agree though, could have done with someone like Swann or Bresnan coming in after Bell to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

I can see his point though, Trott, Bell and Collingwood coming in 3-5 look far too similar to me, there's no variety in there and I don't think Prior is a flexible enough ODI batsman to come in at 6. In fairness the injury to Morgan has really hampered England's batting line-up as with him at 5 he adds something completely different.
