We shouldn't underestimate how big a deal it is that Sharma has had to be taken off, and probably won't bowl round the wicket again.
 
Well I don't agree with Moeen at 3. He's a middle order batsman at Test level and playing there at County level doesn't change that. Yes, I know. The problem is that we don't have a good number 3 (or 2 or 1).

The mentality of the whole team seems to be getting more and more fragile under Bayliss.

Virat doesn't need to go on like that. they will get themselves out :lol:

If your top order is fragile it's going to contaminate the middle order …. and we've been trying to cure the top order problems by moving middle order batsman up the ranks.

With the openers so fragile they're already making the middle order the top order anyway, they're batting against a hard shiny seaming cherry, can't play with freedom, less used to playing watchful innings, less able to play their game. Catch 22. Promote them up or let the openers effectively promote them with their shit batting!
