England v Germany

Colback . Ginger Pirlo .

To be serious , player for player , we are a better side than Germany by a distance . Whether we can overcome their confidence , team spirit and organization is what is in question .
Not convinced of that like.

Anyway, it's irrelevant. The Germans understand it's not about individual players. It's all about Die Mannschaft.

Winner pretty much guaranteed a place in the final, Germany haven't been right for a few years, England will never have a easier chance of getting to the final, although they had the same easy draw at world cup and still managed to mess it up.

I'm strangely confident, not sure why given we've been pretty mediocre so far.
Looking forward to watching it with my pint of English Ale, proper English pork bangers and wearing my free cut-out union jack hat from the super-soaraway Sun.

We've only beaten the Dutch once since '96, and that was a friendly. They whipped us in the Nations League not so long back.

I suppose it’s a matter of opinion but if you put them on all on the transfer market, there would be much more interest and cash generated for our players . Only a month ago we had about 7 players on the pitch in the Champions League final and a couple of the players not on that list are will be going for massive money to top clubs next year . One of the top players in Germany can’t even get in our side.
How much would the Iceland team be worth on the transfer market?😄

Since 1966 Germany have never went 3 tournaments without reaching a final.
World Cup final in 2014, then no final in 2016 or 2018. They're due a final.

Sorry lads.

The Dutch have one of the worst managers of all time at the minute.
Navigated the group stages better than Gareth.
Anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand how sport works.

It is littered with underdogs upsetting the odds in cup games. And we are nowhere near a underdog.

Christ, Sunderland have done it plenty of times.
The Germans are quite good at being an underdog mind. It's usually when people start writing them off that they do summit.

They considered themselves underdogs in Bloemfontein - look what happened there.

They've shown nothing to be afraid of IMO.

Funny how Germany are guaranteed to turn into world beaters in the knockouts despite looking ropey as fuck in the group, and England are guaranteed to stay as shite/get worse.

Out of 19 world cups they've reached the semi final or better 13 times.
9 out of 13 euros they've reached semi finals or better.

Ultimate tournament team. The mentality has been there for generations. The German FA are clearly very competent when it comes to national team affairs and they just do things right.

Out of the 15 world cups we've been part of we've reached 3 semi finals.

In the 9 euros we've been part of we've reached 2 semi finals.
