Silly Point

Apparently Sky won't show the last two T20s because they only paid for one when the rights were agreed years ago and won't fork out for two more for their so called "cricket channel". Tight bastards. Glad I sacked them off

How people think having the best one day side in the world, playing in the main brilliant entertaining cricket, will be a waste of 5 years, just because they may lose a knockout game in the World Cup is simply beyond me.
We are people assuming this new brilliant style of one day cricket that our team are playing was just for one project i.e. The World Cup
The short sighest people on this board is simply incredible.
The cricket our one day team have played and continue to play is brilliant yet somehow people put a negative spin on it!
Hway mate you can always pick up on isolated games where things don’t go to plan, it happens to every side.
The bigger picture is the positive vibe and performances of our team is excellent all round, despite one or two hiccups.
I don’t see any underlying issues just the inevitable one or two lapses when you play in such a positive manner.
Don’t get me wrong the sign of a good side is to be able to adapt to the relevant conditions on a certain day, however I think you been unfair to this side.
Undoubtedly their first mode is of attack and rightly soo, but I think they will be capable of adapting should the need arrive, they have some very intelligent cricketers in the side.
I think the England set up get unfair criticism towards more focus on one day cricket, this is a worldwide focus by nearly all cricketing nations not just England or the ECB.
It’s just the way cricket has gone whether you agree or disagree.
I couldn't actually give a monkey's chuff about the rest, and that fact that we could win the World Cup by only playing two knock out games is definitely to our advantage. But if you think losing to Scotland; being bowled out for 220 odd at home against Pakistan; being reduced to 20 for 6 at home to South Africa; or being bowled out for 113 against West Indies isn't even a minor concern then I can only way I wish I had some of your blind enthusiasm.
I have a concern. That's the be all & end all of it.
I’m not disputing the talent, but there is a big soft underbelly to this team. I wouldn’t be that surprised if we didn’t make the semi finals.
I simply said I had concerns. The nature of your posting reflects that you have no concerns. Ergo, we're going to walk the tournament.Would you care to point me on direction of where I said this? You seem to be getting all hysterical because I asked you a question.
Perhaps forums of this nature aren’t for you
This thing that we can't adapt to conditions just isn't true, we've won in Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and they were on all types of different pitches
I can understand criticism of test side for some of their one of performances but I really feel like people are just waiting to pounce on this team and criticise for the sake of it
Can't believe some of the stuff I have read, England's best chance is to play ultra attacking and aggressive cricket, I hope they don't get scared and change too much as they won't win it in that fashion
You've just picked isolated games, of course you are gonna lose games and badly being as attacking as we are
I am confident in our ability based on what I’ve seen. This doesn’t mean I think we’ll walk the tournament. You just made that up.I simply said I had concerns. The nature of your posting reflects that you have no concerns. Ergo, we're going to walk the tournament.
Why is it that you utterly fail to see anyone else's point of view on any thread that you post on? You castigate others that have this trait, and yet fail to see that you display exactly the same characteristics.
England's best chance is to win by playing ultra attacking cricket. In general no-one is disputing that. However, in certain situations there comes a time when on the spot reappraisals are needed. Are we capable of doing that?
I really don’t see that mind, I just see a very attacking side, who the way they play it will occasionally not come off, but most of the time it does and it’s great to watch and winning cricket.

Feels like a complete non event, this
Root should just sack this format off
There's absolutely no need for him to play this or any T20. Why he went to the Big Bash, over Christmas, with a young family, before a long tour of the Caribbean I don't know. Well I do but it has nothing to do with cricket!Should have been rested, he's played a lot of cricket recently
Terrible shot Morgan
