Only gets runs for England when it doesn't matter unfortunately. Think he's had his time now. I thought Roy or Bairstow might get in there as explosive lower middle order finishers, guess Roy's been pigeon-holed as an opener.

Bit like Bell in the test team but that doesn't stop him always been selected. Bit harsh on Ravi-he's won games for England at the death.

Really not that many though. I agree with the comment about Bell. I think how bad a summer he's had is being glossed over because he got that 160 odd last week. Said before on here that if you compare his record to Cook and Pietersen's from a similar number of games it's lacking and it's in no part due to a lack of talent.
