There were some tremendous shouts overall in your 30 so I’m choosing to indulge your choice for 2005.

It was f***ing shite though.
Aye, yours was 80%ish topper too. Interstellar and Inception though? Nolan is an absolute fraud.

Just read the whole thread - think there's only been one non-English language film mentioned on the whole thread.

Quite revealing, no?
Well there's two in my list alone, so you're wrong there like.

What all these lists shows is that from 1989-2004 there were several great films a year and then 2005 onwards you get 1 or 2 films if you’re lucky. Original ideas of story telling get worse every year as companies cash in on commercial franchises, i.e Marvel.

Probably the closest to my list I've seen. Couple on yours that I swapped out at the last moment.
Good to see Grosse Pointe Blank making it onto a few lists. Sometimes goes unnoticed but one of my favourites.

1989 The Dream Team
Class film. Probably preferred it to the one I chose. But it didn't come up on lists.
Went to see that at the pictures. Keaton was brilliant.

Hit the road jack....
