He never said Charlie was coming

he said he only wanted to come to us which was a lie. Even if he did want to join us at some point do really believe a mercenery footballer with no allegience to the club would come out and say "i only want to join safc". If you do you want to get your head out of your arse. If he was that desperate to come he would have came for less wages.

As for using that rolling face to to imply that i'm talking bollicks you need to grow up. Skunk hater could be telling the truth but i'll take it with a pinch of salt as the last 2 were blatent wind-ups.

Ive just been informed that Steve Bruce hasnt been to training for 2 or 3 days, this could be the end of our beloved club we are in turmoil

Maybe finishing his dinner ?

If Niall leaves il have a breakdown

If SB goes il not be as bothered

Quinn IS the club

He's not like. Quinny is an absolute legend and my favourite person ever associated with SAFC by a fair distance, but the club is, was and always will be much bigger than any one person, Quinny included

Bottom line is neither of us know whether Zog said he wanted to come or not. I take all supposed ITK's with a pinch of salt. And if you think a modern day football mercenary would go somewhere for less money than offered elsewhere, i'll use a term you used, "you want to get your head out of your arse"

If Niall goes, it is not the end of SAFC. Probably best for all concerned if he does go, because too many people starting to turn against him. If he hadn't played his part, we would not be where we are now. But maybe time for him to step aside and let more experienced businessmen run the club. He could maybe have ambassadorial role, which is more suited to his qualities, IMHO.

Spot on and something that needs to be remembered. Quinny has done a mountain for this club and will be forever remembered for that but the club will (hopefully) still be here long after he/I/every poster on this board is long gone.

Short has a history of buying under-performing companies and turning them round. He's done that by assessing what's needed then putting in a management team that he both trusts and that understands the company/market/industry and letting them manage it. I think he's spent a bit of time looking at things here and has now decided on the changes he wants/needs to make to get us to where he wants us to be.

I also think he's astute enough to recognize that emotion plays a massive part in our attachment to the club and that he'd be made to just pushing Quinny out. If he does decide he needs a more business orientated Chairman he'll have an ambassadorial place marked out for SNQ imo.
