Emergency Board Meeting

executives coming and going could wait for a normal board meeting ( monthly ?)

what could have happened recently to warrant an emergency ( extraordinary ) board meeting ? Has to be something with an immediate commercial impact ...wonder what ticket sales are looking like for Stoke ?

Not going to say the OP is full of shit (he might not be) but I cant really see the need for a sudden end of week emergency meeting. If one is called after a match you can tell that maybe the manager is on his way out etc, but I cant imagine any emergencies will suddenly appear on a Thursday that require a board meeting the next day. If Quinn is leaving he would give notice etc and we'd have plenty of time to prepare for it, he wouldnt just walk out and so it wouldnt be an emergency. If Short is looking to sell he would do so sensibly, again no need for a sudden meeting. If Bruce was going to get sacked it would have happened on Monday, if Bruce has walked (no chance!) he wouldnt have done a press conference earlier today. Stranger things have happened but I cant think of what major thing could have suddenly cropped up that needs an emergency board meeting

these things are usually a reaction to crisis

probable reason for meeting??

1.change in structure of the board
2.change in chairmanship (i hope not ... quinny is still/always be the man).
3.change on opertational management (SB has only himself to blame)
4. teach steve bruce either some tactics or better excuses
5. hide SB junk food stash and not give him it back until we astart winning

Is this the game that was originally Saturday 15,00, changed to Sunday at 13.00 and is now 15.00 on Sunday?
Perhaps it is to give someone a kick up the arse for not getting it sorted!

Absolutely spot on.

Skunk hater's been right in the past, but his source seems to be taking the piss recently.

Although he'll never admit to any fault on his part.............Ever !!

No he never said that N'Zog was nailed on... just that he had told Whelan that he wanted to sign for us. Could well of been the case..

Iceman said this 2yrs ago when Birmingham wanted Nzogbia miles before SH came along with his crap

I rarely post but have had enough of this. This is not true.

You ITK?

For what it's worth the SMB create's so much panic and hysteria, many 'fans' whole opinion of SAFC and their knowledge / support comes from this message board alone. It's not healthy

Agreed, it's a strange time for a sudden 'emergency'.

Skunk Hater's been inconsistent and often seems to start a thread then disappear without backing it up or explaining further (especially when he turns out to be wrong).

He said we were DEFINITELY going to Portugal pre-season man.

Big pich of salt required here - nearly 100 replies and he ain't been back

Can't see one being arranged on a Friday like unless its Quinn leaving but I can't see that just yet either.
