Winger
Lots of comments about Embleton being weak. That is certain something the conditioning team could work on. Bit more upper body strength so players bounce off him rather than nudging him off the ball

He's a kid. Give him time.
Exactly ,no good to us as a club hoping to start the rise. He’s 22 in a couple of month so he isn’t a kid anymore. He has ability but he needs to start showing more at his age.
In footballing terms he is though. He’s probably played less than 50 professional games. He’s 22 in a couple of month so he isn’t a kid anymore. He has ability but he needs to start showing more at his age.

Quicker than most of themIf he had pace he wouldn't be here tbf
I think he’s been a bit unlucky in that respect tbf. He went out on loan under Ross and did really well. He came back and looked like he was going to get a run of games under Ross in the 2nd season but got injured by the time he was back fit we had a new manager in Parkinson who seemed massively reluctant to change things then the season ended early. This season he had another injury early on so this is probably the first time he’s managed to be available. Hopefully we’ll see him improve with experience, he certainly has talent.I take your point. And he’s also had his injury problems. But it begs the question why has he not forced his way into managers sides with the ability he has? Especially with how poor we are and the level we are at. When he’s picked, he simply has to contribute more regardless of his age.
I don't think he or any other player would come on here to read the crap what yous writeChill out Elliot.

You're great, can we keep you.
Only got 16 weeks left on contract,he wont get another.Definitely has lots of potential and areas that can be worked on
He should get another, as should our other promising young playersOnly got 16 weeks left on contract,he wont get another.
He isnt a youngster and is a crockHe should get another, as should our other promising young players
Hes 21 so he is a youngster. Yes hes had injuries but it doesnt make him a crock. Are you suggesting sending all players who's had injuries to the glue factory? He isnt a youngster and is a crock
I got pelters for suggesting this side.Yes was against 10 tiring men but that’s what I want to see from a midfielder. Scowen and Leads are tidy players but Embleton is a bit more exciting and direct. He’s good on the ball as well.
Wonder if we will ever see Gooch, Diamond and Embleton on pitch at same time? Much more energy, pace and directness.
Scowen gets picked because of his energy workrate and competitiveness. That side of his game is faultless. His distribution is the problem. If he had both he'd be a league above, if Embleton had his competitiveness and energy he'd be the same.LJ seems to prefer steady eddies, hence the fact that an extremely limited Scowen gets a game ahead of him
I was always under the impression that he's more right than left. I reckon that would be the best space for him tbh. He hasn't got the physicality to play orthodox midfield and he needs raw pace to back him up IMO.
I could live without the pace tbh. It's the way he's so easily pushed off the ball that needs to change. Thankfully that is easily done in the weight room. That should basically be Embleton's whole summer.
