Email about refund on international streaming pass

It seems odd that if it was "setup wrongly" they can't set it up rightly.

They obviously have everyone's details as they are sending out the emails, and they have the payment details if they are making refunds.

Whoever screwed up (I am guessing at streamamg rather than the club directly) should really be making more effort to sort it out themselves rather than cancelling and getting people to re-order.
 
I had a nonsensical email telling me that I had requested to cancel my streaming pass. Did I Hell!

What a joke the commercial department is.

If the rest of the club is anything like the commercial side, we've got a few batterings to look forward to this season.
Just got an email in which they stated I requested it to be cancelled. Unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth.

Email says refund will take 3-5 'working days'.

That could mean Monday 1st August...by which time the early bird discount has expired.
Are they deliberately trying to make it unavailable at the early bird price?

I don’t see any reason they can’t take a payment for an intangible item that they have nigh on two weeks to sort any issues with.

I asked the same question about the 50% discount for only half a Rangers match only being offered for new purchases of the Roma game when those who had already bought the Roma game got nothing.

They seemed incapable of offering a £3.50 voucher for any purchased stream, despite the purchase page having a 'discount code' box.
 
I know this is an isolated issue that probably has a reasonable explanation but along with everything else that isn’t exactly “right” at the moment, it feels like the off-the-field side of the club is in total disarray at the moment and only finding new ways to frustrate fans each week.

I had bought the Rangers game, then bought Roma AFTER the refund was announced. Paid full price 🙄

Edit: early bird price is available until 1st of September, so still plenty time for that.

I don't think it's because the card is registered in the UK - it wasn't a problem last season, but thought maybe it's because I used my UK address to buy it. So I bought

It really isn't any surprise that people use other methods to stream the match, like.
watching build-up now on the app and the matchday Dundee quality is horrific. Should be Accy highlights club not getting value for money off streamer
 
Seems bizarre from a tech standpoint, how can they not just fix whatever's wrang and then keep everyone's credentials / port them over to a new system if necessary?
 
Is it because the club know that people are signing up for it when they are not actually living overseas?

Therefor i'm not going to pay for it via a UK system. Wechat for example. The most used app in China, isn't accepted by SAFC. You offer a service to us lot living abroad but we have no way of giving you the money and bollocks to Paypal...

My money is in a Chinese bank. I can pay the club directly from that bank or via 'the most used APP in China' method. Neither are accepted currently.

As this service is for 'Overseas' fans..Asia, the Americas etc

It's not been setup right, at all. And that's not saying anything about the actual shite stream quality apparently.
Nope, I'm overseas and have signed up every season with an overseas address and credit card. I got the same email.
 
Nothing thing to do with using a UK credit card or signing up from a UK device. I signed up from Australia using an Australian credit card and got the same cancellation emails as everyone else.
