Yes it’s a travesty the way he’s overseen a huge investment in the club, and our longest unbroken spell in the top flight for decades.

People need to get a grip. He’s made mistakes in his managerial appointments and if he’s guilty of anything, it’s backing the wrong managers too far. However he’s not exactly turned a profit at the clubs expense. He’s the biggest loser out of everyone on the back of what’s happened.
Fuckin hell. And still some try and defend the kernt !!!

That ten year stint ended well didn't it, put it this way the tenyear will be well forgotten when were languishing in the lower league's for years to come.

f***ing hell. These people still exist?

I disagree. The worst thing to happen to SAFC is surely Margaret Byrne. 2011 to 2017 on £700k per annum and responsible for the incompetent dross we signed as so called players at most transfer windows, including Rodwell and his brilliant contract. Left over the AJ fiasco with a £750k pay off to keep stum!

At least Short kept the club going with his own funds until even he lost patience and turned away from SAFC

Erm, who was her employer? Who paid her a million quid hush money to cover his own arse?

Ellis Short’s run as #SAFC owner is worse than any other owner in professional footballing history. 17th richest club in the UK, 86th in the world to staring League 1 in the face less than 12 months later. Oh, and £200M debt. Astonishing incompetence beyond comprehension.

Just got this of Twitter

Who was appointed - and overseen - by............ ?

Sorry, but all roads lead back to a man who had the money and (apparently) the charm but quite simply was out of his depth on almost every other level when it came to running a football club.
