Ellis Short - the worst thing to happen to SAFC in a near 140 year history

Soon as he realised he wouldn’t get a return on his investment he’s ran the club into the floor.

As we are soon becoming the worst I’ve ever seen us, I’m actally hoping that we do go down and become worthless just so he will suffer.

Without a doubt.

He's taken us from having survived in the Premier League, to the worst team in our history, via Roberto De Fanti, Margaret Byrne, Lee Congerton, part-time basketball scouts, and Martin Bain, and racked up a £100m + debt in the process.

There isn't even anyone close to having done the damage that cunt has done to us.

Yes it’s a travesty the way he’s overseen a huge investment in the club, and our longest unbroken spell in the top flight for decades.

People need to get a grip. He’s made mistakes in his managerial appointments and if he’s guilty of anything, it’s backing the wrong managers too far. However he’s not exactly turned a profit at the clubs expense. He’s the biggest loser out of everyone on the back of what’s happened.

Can't disagree

Utterly disastrous - no plan, no leadership, no care, no responsibility

A cancer that could well kill us

He will leave the club in a far worse state than he found it.

Keeping us in the Premier League for so long was a huge mistake.

Exactly.

No, that will be the club and the fans, if we can't pay the huge loan with the mental interest rates by next year.

In life, if you continually make mistakes, you pay for them, so he deserves to.

Will you still be saying that if we no longer have a club to support?

Aye, poor Ellis. Inept, clueless and utterly lacking in the acumen required to run a football club - but hey, at least he had a go, eh?

It really doesn't matter if he invested, if he invested so badly that we are stricken with debt and now in freefall - and likely (IMHO) to end up at the lowest level in our history. He may have lost / be losing cash but some of us have more than just money invested.
