Ekwah

His mistake led to their goal like, he’s still learning his game to be fair like

Switching off was bad for their goal
Not the first time he’s done this. He switches off all the time. He’s a cracking footballer but his awareness of the game is absolutely lifting.

He won’t go any further than the level he’s at unless he cuts it out

He’s 21 man. Asked to play a role a much more experienced footballer is asked to play. He’s played just 26 championship games in his whole career. He’s still learning and will continue to grow. Dear me, the poor lad is seen as one of our experienced players and he’s just an inexperienced kid who has impressed in his very short career to date.

Every time he got the ball he seemed to take 1 touch too many before trying to release it. Played into trouble numerous times.

We won though. Like others have said young players will have the occasional poor games, fortunately because of the result we can brush this to one side

The fence hurting your arse?

We love the lad and his enthusiasm!
One bad day in many good ones
“He’s here he’s there he’s every f…..where Ekwah ! “

I noticed him getting frustrated. His natural game is to look for an opportunity to go forward where Dan Neil provides either someone to pass to or creates space for someone else.

I think he, and Neil tbf, struggled with being asked to play protective roles in support of the new central defensive set up. He was caught in possession too often and his pass completion was lower than expected but was our most involved player so we can take encouragement that he didn't hide away when things weren't going well for him.

He was poor today but support him instead of slating him
Same for them all. This isn’t the era of people coming here to rob a wage. They all want to be here and develop and they seem like good lads. Get behind them. I love watching us play more than I probably ever have.
