Egg chasers of the SMB



Absolutely fuming at that Bath 'performance'. Shocking handling, constant poor decisions and generally total shite. Somehow, we have managed to look even worse than we did for most of last season. After a lovely summer, back to that oh so familiar feeling of a weekend ruined by a Bath defeat on a Friday night.

However, credit where it's due to Bristol, cracking atmosphere in the ground and a great performance on the pitch.

Rhys priestlands performance tonight resembled a vets game where a life long prop fancied the kicking duties in a fund raiser game


Whilst pissed.

Agreed, he was terrible. Passing for the botched Homer try when he basically just had to fall over to score was his crowning moment. For some reason Blackadder always seems reluctant to take him off, however badly he was playing. We were crying out for some creativity from Burns, and in the 7 minutes he was on, we looked much more dangerous. He should have been on 15 minutes earlier. I expect him to get a similar amount of game time next week against Gloucester. Regretting getting a ticket for that now.

You’ll struggle again this season with burns or priestland as the 10 option. Don’t rate either.

They can both be fantastic, but we don't seem to know which is first choice or find a way of building the game around them. But we'll chop and change and always wonder if the other could have done a better job.

Such a scrappy game by both sides. Bath made noises before the game about having a better attack this season instead of last year's negative shite, but they reverted to type after about 15 minutes. Maybe because it was clear everyone had forgotten to catch the ball after 2 seasons of Blackadder
