I always wondered how they had managed to get these to work legally as had been long under the impression we couldn't have them. Muppets.

I'll have some of whatever you're smokingmost important news for a fair few weeks. just need the takeover, this time next year 10 points clear in league 1 in front of 40k crowds.![]()
WYCOMBE CAN GO TO HELL, HOPE THEY LOSE EVERY MATCHWycombe have asked for it to be scrapped in preperation for next season.![]()
I've said all along that so many players out of contract was a perfect scenario for us. If we were to go up, we won't want the majority of them. If we don't go up, we will be by far the biggest attraction in the league. There was always the possibility of losing someone like Willis or Hume to a team higher up, but hopefully this news allows us to tie down some of the better players and keep our powder dry with the othersAll of those players being out of contract now is nowhere as big a deal as it was. We can now actually clear the decks and the new owner can splash a bit cash on the squad

Not the Top 20 Pod posting on Twitter that there are rumors that the salary cap may be overturned.
Hope to god this is true. Yes clubs need to be sustainable in this division but a flat cap is not the way to go. There is no reason a club our size should be limited to the same cap as clubs like Accrington Stanley for example who pull in significantly less revenue per season.
The cap well and truly screwed us over this January and may well be one of the factors In us not going up at the end of this season.
And rightly so ,if the lads in the last year dont get us up we wont be renewing many
I had to go to THEPFA to find anything...Typical of the BBC , the story is number 6 behind a couple of Women's football stories. Unless you are in the Prem they are not interested.
Great news, but it's a must we move away from throwing money away senselessly and move towards a long term strategy with a focus on value for money, analytics and developing our own academy players.
