Chelsea at around 9/2 for the title next year. Hmm... decent odds if they continue like this for the rest of the summer.

This signing relatively early on will make the transfer window very interesting. Man Utd in particular need to improve their squad as the top 3/4 next season are going to be very competitive.

As a side note, Arsenal just don't seem to be linked with any of the top players at all anymore. Top 4 for them will be very difficult next year.

Funny how a club can spend that much money on a player when they dont have a manager.

So;

1) RDM is the manager next season
2) whoever is going to be announced has decided who he wants to sign already
3) The Russian signs the players.

especially if Man City keep knocking their best players.

Marko Marin heard if him from FM didn't realise Chelsea had already signed him.

Had a nosey on RedCafe and they seem to be either utterly devastated, glad they've not signed him because of how public it's been or sure he's only going to Chelsea over them for the money. That's right, he chose the Champions of Europe, over the team who were knocked out by Basle, purely for the money.

if roman doesn't sign the players every year and has decided to this year, i think he should make himself manager
seriously though i can see them giving RDM the job till pep is sick of sitting about.

chelsea finishing 6th in the league is certainly worse than getting beat in a one off match against basle mind you...

They played Basle twice...

Can't say people are signing for the money when they sign for Chelsea anymore, they are always in the CL and usually in the latter stages, they've won it now, have won the PL multiple times. Getting like that with City now too.

They are both as likely, if not more so, than Man Utd to win something.

Anyone who says different is either bitter or just deluding themselves.

Doubt the club accountant would agree

arnly because chelsea fluked the champions league if they didnt there'd be plenty of people at chelsea shitting themselves at the prospect of losing even more than they earn.

You can if you know the facts behind the transfer (which we dont) I'd hazard a guess and say he was united bound then chelsea came in last minute and blew them out the water, but thats just my opinion he could well have been offered the same wage and chose chelsea who knows:confused:

Oh and they need to get a manager in place first..
