Injury Update

Phil Mustard (Inflamed toe) – Responding to treatment but still in discomfort.

Liam Plunkett (Torn left quad muscle)

Stephen Harmison (Ulna) – Will wear a removable cast for a further week and will then be re-assessed next week. Able to train and will begin bowling later this week.

Mark Davies (Foot) – Still immobilised, but training in the gym.

Mark Stoneman (Hand) – Is being re-assessed by the consultant next week.

Been a good start to the season from the lads and with 2 home games in the championship now, hopefully we can keep that form up and set ourselves up to try and regain the championship.

Very early days but the signs so far have been good, especially with the bat, which was often the problem last year.
 
Breese is in goal, man! It's 1-4-4-2, is tactical naivety a common trait among Steves?

How are Claydon and Braithwaite playing?

Braithwaite's never a right back and Claydon is out of position as well. I do like the two little guys in Goal though.

I wonder why Breese was added, considering we already have two spinners in the squad? Surely we wouldnt take to the field with 3 spinners? Cant see IB or SB being dropped.

Borthwick was 21 today!

Onions is being rested. Part of his rehabilitation which I presume is being partially dictated by the ECB.
