Stayed back and glad I did as it was lovely to see Geoff Cook, lovely man as always & great to see him watching the cricket. As for the game, I've made my feelings known with regards to selections and not giving Doneathy and Bushnell more game time, it still bugs me after that today. Maddinson has been a very poor signing up to now & it's clear his selection is blocking the development of other young lads, that doesn't sit well with me but hey do they pick the side and it's a results business. Clark batted well today and Rushworth bowled well. Young lads no disgrace with the ball and ironically batted well with the bat when some others above were poor to average at best. Unfortunately it's another defeat, don't need to bore anyone with how bad it has been this season. Encouraged with some performances, not so others and again zero faith in those in charge, they really need to go as the club needs a big overhaul and good recruitment and I don't believe these lot are capable of doing that. Highly likely that's my last first team home game for the season, it's been a tough watch and very dissapointing. Second team have a game at home in a couple of weeks hopefully get down for that. Hopefully things can improve soon
