I can put up with any drivel ,other than he is not a Premiership player . I watched a premier league match between Sunderland and West Brom today and Watmore was definately playing . That makes him a Premiership player . Given that he was one of the best players on the pitch today , I would add that by premiership standards he's not too bad .
That's the one that gets me. All these "coaches" knowing better than the professionals.

Aye well obviously. He's nowhere near premier leave standard though.

Why are people intent on trying to drive this lad out? The same was happening to Khazri until he started yesterday and played well.

Watmore is a decent player for us. He's only been playing for around 1 year for us and is continuing to improve. People should get behind the lad. I agree, he's perhaps not good enough to be starting every game, he certainly shouldn't be keeping a player like Khazri out of the team when everyone's fit but he's fast, direct, causes the opposition problems and is an attacking threat.

He's been a quality signing for us.

Don't be daft, of course he is.

In an ideal world Watmore would be given twenty minutes here and there and he'd play League Cup games. He'd be allowed to develop gradually and receive praise for his impact from the bench.

It's not his fault that due to the alarming lack of quality in our squad he's not only a guaranteed starter week in week out, he's also our only player with any genuine pace in the final third and the player most likely to create chances for our only often isolated striker.

He's a young lad with very little experience at premier league level, he will make mistakes but we'd be in an even worse state without him.

Nothing wrong with stuff like that - I agree and our injuries are meaning he has to play at the moment. My issue is with all of the 'dog with a balloon' 'nee awareness' 'shit first touch' 'headless chicken' stuff all the PF experts continually spew out. No other player gets that level of 'expertise' given out on them all the time when much more are deserving of it. At worst, Watmore is a useful player but he looks to me a player that is still learning and getting better.
Thank God for a bit of common sense. The SOL is rapidly becoming a bigger coffin for developing youngters than Roker Park was in its latter days.

I'm not his biggest fan, but it's absolutely baffling how many people can't even say he played well, which he did yesterday.

If he keeps improving, he'll be a decent player for us.

I don't think he's good enough to be playing regularly and he's been poor this season. But he was very good today, fair play to the lad

I sit in the premier concourse and was having a pint before the game overlooking the main entrance where you can watch the players etc park up and walk into the sol.

Anyway watched Januzaj park up and get out of his car and as soon as he seen a few of our younger supporters walking towards him for autographs he pulled his mobile phone out and 'started talking'

This 'call' which allowed him to ignore the young uns, lasted while he walked from his car and up to the sol main door. The 'call' ended just as he entered the sol.

I thought you f***ing ungrateful little shithouse, your injured and aren't in a hurry (I guess) and here's a chance to give a little back to some of our younger supporters.

Arsehole.

Ignorant twat.

It's mental , it's as if they want him to do shit , so they can be proved right . He's a young lad , people should be patient with him .
Asking a bit much there mate TBH. Patience is not a virtue of this message board.

The kid has been thrown in at the deep end.. he needed a couple of years in the championship..however when asked by the manager he has shown total commitment . Lacking natural ability he has tried to improve himself, , this lad could go on to be a top footballer and could put millions into SAFC coffers

he was no better yesterday than any other game this season and he played very well yesterday imo. Give the lad a chance ffs.
