Drying after a shower

I get dried after a shower standing in the bath. All the rest of the household step out soaking wet and flood the bathroom whilst drying. Are they wronguns

I watch a shower almost every f***ing week, not got a soaking yet.

I step out and stand on the bath mat.

I ring my hair out and wipe the excess water off my arms legs and chest etc. like what a window cleaner does with that wipey tool.

It means the floor and the towel are less wet.

I assumed everybody did. Keeps the bathnat dry. Until I opened this thread, I wasn’t aware that getting out to get dried was even a thing.

I'd have thought you'd get dried in the back of the car on the way to work.

As an aside, what's the point in having a bathmat if it's being kept dry?
