Can't believe it can only be used if both teams agree to it. No DRS for the India series because the Indian's believe they have had the rough end of the stick with it and its too big an advantage for Swann. Yet the same team might be perfectly happy to use DRS against other opposition. Personally i'm in favour of it and think its actually sharpened decision making by umpires but surely you either have it or you dont and you cannot have countries choosing to use it in some tests but not in others.

Thoughts?

it should be upto the home playing side as to whether it is used. The indians running and ruining cricket as normal.

Can anyone tell me one inative thing the indias have brought to the game?

Im all in favour of DRS and if your going to have all this technology it should be used every time.

The IPL is allright.

It is quite an advantage making sure you get the wickets you deserve to get, mind.

I'd f***ing love them to get some right stinking decisions in this series, I bet their stance on it would change then.

It shouldn't be anyones choice. The ICC should insist its used and pay for it to be used at all test match venues.

The Indian cricket board should be told to go and fuck themselves. The ICC would never do it of course as they are about as corrupt as FIFA.

And as for the IPL the indians didn't like 20Twenty when if was first being played. They didn't like the game and sent a young side to play in the ICC championship. Somehow they went and won it and the interest in the game in India went crazy. The Indian board then jumped on the bandwaggon and sorted the IPL quickly. Fair play the money floating around is crazy but when it harms Test cricket then it has all gone too far IMO.

If it wasn't for the IPL coming on the back of the World Cup Tendulkar would have been playing against the Windies now not missing tests because he is tired.

Not sure what exactly went on but Gayle and Pollard playing in IPL when the Windies were taking on Pakistan was also a disgrace. I'm not sure if they retired from the Windies but if they did I bet it was to chase the money in the IPL. (I realise that Pollard never was in the test team but he is good enough to be in the ODI team)

40% of Swann's test match wickets have been LBW and many against left handers on the front foot. Hes a very good bowler but has benefited a lot from DRS

That may be true but they are correct decisions.

Its strikes me as dubius by Fletcher and the Indians probably a tactic.

Warne came up with a good one in commentary the other day. If the indians don't like it then fine they don't use it. England should be able to use it though. See how the Indians like it then.
The ICC should make it compulsory for all tests.

No board should be able to hold sway either way. The ICC Should be the ones who decide either for or against.

but the ICC has a history of not standing up for itself and saying"this is how its gonna be"
