A17 then A47 to get to Nawrich. Cabbages everywhere as mentioned above.

The train makes travelling through that part of the country less painless provided they run okay.

I learnt that travelling through to Cambridge or Stansted at various times.

Yer fucked if the East Coast mainline does one of it's regular foul ups.

I find the a37 where it cuts across the hills by the old dairy farm helps avoid the toll gate bridge fly over and where it meets the a49 on the turn round swally downs gives you a straight road down as far as cuthberts chalk.
