I very rarely drink at home but am quite happy to sit by myself in a pub watching the world go by. I rarely drink to excess any more as my tolerance for hangovers has decreased in line with the increase in nasal and ear hair.
Well it certainly doesn't make you an alcoholic does it, alcohol makes you an alcoholic not the environment you drink it in.
Don't be daft man! Hicc, it's relaxing like'home-drinker/alcoholic'
Exactly, Teed. Love having a can during the warmer weather, sitting by me self in the woods. Good day's graft and 3 miles into the bike ride home.
I'm sure some of the dog walkers and joggers are just thinking, ''What a sad-case''. I prefer this more often than sitting in a boozer.
I work with a lad who regularly comes in saying he's had 9-10 cans in the house the night before,i find this a bit sad like, that's like a session in the house,a couple of bottles of lager about 8-9 o clock (very rarely like) does me,helps you nod off when you do go to bed anarl.
bit of an urban myth, alcohol reduces the quality of your sleep. one of me mates was telling me that he used to always have a couple of cans in the house, but has stopped & is now getting a much better nights sleep because of it.
I enjoy it, like the taste etc. I do go through phases where i can go weeks without fancying a drink, then other times when i'll go to the pub on me own with the paper for a few pints. I like the fact i don't seem to have any sort of reliance on alcohol.
Occasionally have a drink at home but it will only be a few bottles. Never understand folk who will happily sit at home and get shit-faced by themselves. First sign of a problem that.
Nothing sad about that, he's just winding down!! different if he was falling about the place pissed, just goes to show how easily people are brain washed into thinking the way those that be wan't them to think!! they did it with smoking and they're working their way through drink now, now that is sad.
