😂 Where's the confidence come from? Can't be from your recent form
We are a Premier League team. We finished 12th last season. We have, by my assessment, 1 point fewer than i would have expected from the opening 2 games.
You are a League 1 team. If i can't be confident of a comfortable victory in these circumstances when could i be?
Could you imagine when we pumped you. Honestly think Bruce would be murdered and that's not even a joke
It would be very unpleasant. That said he would play a full strength team. It would be utter madness to risk anything other than playing the strongest side possible.
Under those circumstances, and allowing for it being a Derby, we should still win comfortably.

In ordinary circumstances I'd say aye I'm hoping for the mags, but I am gonna be away that week so can't make it, so anybody except the mags for me please.

If it was last season's team I'd not wanna play them, but I'd be interested to see how this team got on.

It would be brilliant mate, but we both know the build up would start the week before the game (if not sooner) and we could easily lose focus ahead of league games.

Fwiw, I think we will be playing each other next year anyway, so for that reason alone it can wait another year for me.
You genuinely think we will be relegated?
On what basis?
We are the same side that finished 12th. Have any of the teams below us last season strengthened markedly?
Which of the 3 promoted sides will finish above us?

How many times have we played them when we were two league below them???

I swear to god it looks likes a few of our fans our sniffing glue
If we were drawn at home we could definitely give them a game.

The pressure would be on the mags, plus anything could happen with the poor form they are currently in.

Bugger all to fear, them on the other hand, plenty to fear.

This, we'd smash the black and white *****!

The meltdoon that would follow would be on an epic scale the which (even for the horse punching, shop shouting, phone box smashing, coach trips to a closed parliament and loitering around Premier League HQ videoing themselves mags) has never been seen before.

the worst team in the draw at home

want to go as far as possible

the idea that going out of this tournament is a good thing is utter nonsense, that win is a massive boost to the players and fans, and will help our league form, not hinder it.

Advancing another round with another win will help also.

I can understand the fascination of the mags cup match at home but that couldn’t sum it up better how a cup competition can be a distraction.

It’s not about being afraid of them lot but if I can choose, a win against any team in the next league match would be more preferable. Three points nearer to get out of this bloody league while trying to develop our young players as much as possible.

So the easiest one available each round at home where we can field more fringe or younger players to get more minutes instead of the full first eleven on Tuesday night away trip.

Leeds (A) id enjoy. Mainly so I can go on the piss with all my mates in Leeds but still. Other than that, lowest ranked team at home.

Tbf, a large chunk of your fans are also predicating relegation, so it’s hardly a controversial statement.

Why would we get beat?

Get the SOL full and rocking. They are in shite form, we have a very decent young team.

Don't understand why people are shitting themselves at the prospect of Newcastle at home.
I wouldn’t fancy our chances at all. Awful game for us with our slow weak midfield could definitely see us getting turned over
