I was worried about that. Just want him out the picture entirely. The bloke smacks of establishment and entitlement and he's the polar opposite to what I want in charge of English cricket.

That's not me saying I want a pit yakka in charge , just someone who puts winning ahead of picking people for roles based solely on their old school ties and/or if they're nice boys.

the biggest issue for me is the selectors, I know Moores is on the panel so he is part of that of course, but people like Hales and Stokes or whoever not being selected is down to the four selectors, not the likes of Downton. There are bigger problems in English cricket I know, but you are only as good as the eleven men on the field really.

Good to see they are doing something though, but it wasn't that long ago that we had an excellent side like and Australia were absolutely awful though, everything is down to the quality of player.

Looks like a shortlist between Vaughan, Strauss and Stewart

My preference would be Strauss, but it depends on the specifics as the role

For me they need to change the selectors, thats my biggest gripe

I wouldn't mind Vaughan and Colly on the selection committee.
