'They care about the sport'.Well aye but its not for the love of sport
Not at all. It isn't the first time they have done this and won't be the last. Fact is it is not just NUFC that need targeting. Sadly there is so much corruption, dodgy owners & clubs desperate for more money at the expense of 99% of the other clubs that i fear it is not so much a losing battle, but a lost one.Massive coincidence that they did it while playing against the team with the most corrupt owners in world football.
Mike Ashley famously didn't care about the sport . KSA have bought Newcastle to make them good at the sport of football , not to make money. Literally all they care about is the sport. How do they care about the sport? They obviously don't care about the sport as they are using it for sportswashing purposes, and everybody(except you) know it
Ha ha ha ha. How is buying a football club to sportswash an horrendous human rights record, caring about a sport. They are ruining said sport, and everyone knows it. You are down the rabbit hole if you think ksa love football. Its the oppositeMike Ashley famously didn't care about the sport . KSA have bought Newcastle to make them good at the sport of football , not to make money. Literally all they care about is the sport.

It was aimed at the mags, who represent everything corrupt about world football. In pretty sure the Dortmund fans are able to see the causal links between Saudi money and Newcastle's sudden appearance in the champions league. It was aimed at UEFA
So not the sportare sitting down mate ?
they're doing the sports washing by making the football team good
Methinks the lady doth protest too muchare sitting down mate ?

it's like pulling teeth but let's plough on because I'm already on a yellow this morning..So not the sport
Aye, it's like pulling teeth. You think the sport of football is how nufc perform? Nope, it isn't.it's like pulling teeth but let's plough on because I'm already on a yellow this morning..
By "sport" I'm meaning how NUFC perform on the field
By "sport" you're meaning the overall well being of the global game ?
So funny reading the mags' comments, desperately deflecting and attempting to convince themselves and others (vehemently) that the banners did not apply to them in any way.
I heard hundreds of Japanese fans flew over to deep clean the square the mags were drinking in last night.
This one is also aimed at uefa iirc there read it on here
Literally all they care about is their, Saudi, GDP. Your overlord said exactly that.Mike Ashley famously didn't care about the sport . KSA have bought Newcastle to make them good at the sport of football , not to make money. Literally all they care about is the sport.
Making money in football requires some level of sustainability- unless it's just asset stripping (which Ashley demonstrably did not do). The owners have no Interest in the sport, rather the geopolitical opportunities and advantages that they believe having a successful champions league club will entail.Mike Ashley famously didn't care about the sport . KSA have bought Newcastle to make them good at the sport of football , not to make money. Literally all they care about is the sport.
He did in that interview. But no, he is really just a lover of the beautiful game.Jumpers for goalposts and that.Literally all they care about is their, Saudi, GDP. Your overlord said exactly that.
Going through your posting history you’ve been slagging saudi off in the past and pretending to be a Sunderland fan.it's like pulling teeth but let's plough on because I'm already on a yellow this morning..

but the boost to their image is by fielding an excellent football team . Of course they have ulterior motives but compare Man City to Man United. Money is plentiful at both clubs really but United's senior management are prioritising smooth outflow of cash to the owners while delaying any non essential expenditure and keeping one eye on an eventual sale . At City and now at Newcastle there are no financial dramas or ownership intrigues , everyone can just concentrate on building a better squad , fielding a better side. This is going much better than we hoped it would.
