He must be a right gentleman, asking for permission to attend with the fans.

It was my understanding that any football manager/chairman can take in any game gratis as a sort of honour code thing. But maybe that's league level only.

Has this to say on Micky Gray
‘I think he has just got confused over which deal I'm part of that is all. No issue at all from this end - I can answer his concerns and everyone else's if and when i get league approval and I am sure Mr Gray can then ask me any questions he wants’

There are many mis truths being banded around about your new owner, for one he has never owned or been a director of Oxford United. Give him a chance but believe me, don’t expect miracles he has failed big time at the Silverlake and there are many of us glad to see him go as he lost interest months ago.

Easy tiger, it was a joke. It would have kind of spoilt the rhythm if I'd said "What, as well as owning Eastleigh and maintaining a 10% stake in Oxford United, which is the maximum permitted under FA rules, he has some sort of stake in Ebbsfleet FC, who are confusingly based in Northfleet even though they're called Ebbsfleet?"

He clearly wants this to go through as soon as possible like most of us (not including all the ones who are negative bout it before he even takes over) and didnt want to give the EFL the slightest reason to delay it, come on we all know how arsey they can be when it suits them.

Respect to the guy for firstly wanting to actually be there in amongst the fans and secondly for showing the EFL the respect of asking first
Wherever he sits there’ll be no one within a 10 seat radius!
