Might be worth stopping off at that old airship hangar on the M1 where they store one of Steve Cotterill's unused notebooks, Don.

We dont want him in the stands with us do we?? We want him in the boardroom upstairs where he should be....as a previous poster has said the next step will be him going 'full ashley'...... cringeworthy of the highest order I would say!

He has not started yet, will have all summer to be in the boardroom sorting the mess that is safc, let Donald meet the fans Sunday and start a good relationship already....

Everything should look positive from the final whistle on Sunday.......

Didn’t he say he wanted to come to experience the match and speak to fans to get their opinions and views of what’s gone wrong and what they’d like to see going forward?

I don’t mind that at all, if he wants to meet fans there’s no harm. Not sure I fancy him hanging about the south stand at half time with us, I can see him getting hoisted in the air and covered in lager which will put him off

Tin Hat on here. Prefer if he just went and sat in the directors box. I slated Fat Mike pandering to the unwashed. Fail to see what the difference is here.

I agree to a certain extent, but as Sunday is likely to be quiet (plus a lot of people wont know him), I doubt it will do much harm.

First of all he is in the middle of buying the football club and wants to make clear that he isn't in anyway harming, derailing the deal or breaking any of the EFL rules in regards to buying a football club.

Secondly, he doesn't own the club and the deal isn't finalized yet. He can't sit in the directors box because he's not a director. So he'll sit with the general public. He has said he wants to get a feel for the current situation with the club.

No big deal!

He is used to mingling with the fans at Eastleigh where it'll be pretty friendly, and he'll know a fair few of the regulars well. With a much bigger fan base, It'll probably be his only opportunity to go into the crowd before someone will start to hate what he is doing and have a pop.

Let's face it, when he names his Manager, some folk won't like the choice, and it'll be downhill from there. He's not spending enough, not buying the right players, not appointing the right backroom staff, still got pink seats, still got shite trees at the AoL etc.

You can't please all of the people, all of the time.

f***ing hell, he owns Ebsfleet as well as Eastleigh and Oxford??

There are many mis truths being banded around about your new owner, for one he has never owned or been a director of Oxford United. Give him a chance but believe me, don’t expect miracles he has failed big time at the Silverlake and there are many of us glad to see him go as he lost interest months ago.

I think it is stupid regardless of it being is or them. The people he will be sat with with be tweeting him awful stuff the minute it doesn’t go there perceived way.
Yes, they will. Just because a lot of fans are bellends shouldn't affect what he wants to do for me. Sitting in the home end and meeting some of the fans doesn't harm anybody.
