Story in The Guardian about ex-SAFC man (ok, so it was only one game!) Dominic Matteo and the brain tumour that he discovered he'd been playing with all his career.

I recall meeting him several times one year in Ibiza while I was working for a magazine out there for the summer. One of his mates ran a well-known dance music record shop in Southport and they were all out having a right old time. No matter how much we refused them, he would buy everyone round after round of drinks. Very generous with his time too. Normal lad, no heirs and graces, just wanted to have fun.
Do hope that things continue to improve for him physically.
