Queer chew that when one of the many ramps will be fineCould you not rig up a pulley system in the boot? - Clip it on to the back of a harness and just hoist him up & down, he'll love that.

Just another option sunshine, our Gilly is a practical lad & I'm sure is more than capable of knocking such a system together if he wanted to turn his mind to it.Queer chew that when one of the many ramps will be fine
Can’t really compare an old wifey with a dog man, can imagine a dog getting stressed with a hoist if they aren’t used to itJust another option sunshine, our Gilly is a practical lad & I'm sure is more than capable of knocking such a system together if he wanted to turn his mind to it.
Dog might not fancy the ramp, when our lasses gran got a stairlift she didn't trust it & just got her bed moved downstairs, people get stubborn with age.
Don't be daft man, a staffy with air suspension.Nee air suspension so you can lower it at the rear?
Hed be even more scared of herYou could buy a set of weights for your lass and build her up instead.
One of these GillyEvening all.
Feel a bit of a tit here asking for advice on this but here it goes;
Our staffy is proper old now and is at the point he can’t jump in the back of the van or car on his own.I just lift him in and out no Botha but our lass takes him out and can’t lift him as he’s too heavy.
He’s 14 going on 15 but still got to go out at least 2 a day,he gets took to a field or waste land for him to wander about.
What I’m looking for is something that can go in the boot and just pull out so he can walk up and down it.It needs to be operational with one hand as I imagine our lass will have hold of him on the lead with the other hand.
Seen them online but want to know if anyone else has one?Crap ya dog getting really old like.
Ne pissing about on this thread taking the piss as it’s serious.

Understand , had Dobermans, proper heavy at the end , depends on the vehicle and the ratio of lift - had an old toyota 4 x4 (old ) , any type of gentle ramp would have had to be 20m ( back legs go ) manuel lift it was, same weight as the missusEvening all.

With mine I say “carry you” and he walks straight to the boot and I lift his front in and then his back legs. I then carry him out of the back boot. He is so daft and soft![]()
Awww that's cute
Mine is stupid. Several times he's tried to jump in the boot before I've opened it
