Dog Ramp

Evening all.

Feel a bit of a tit here asking for advice on this but here it goes;

Our staffy is proper old now and is at the point he can’t jump in the back of the van or car on his own.I just lift him in and out no Botha but our lass takes him out and can’t lift him as he’s too heavy.
He’s 14 going on 15 but still got to go out at least 2 a day,he gets took to a field or waste land for him to wander about.

What I’m looking for is something that can go in the boot and just pull out so he can walk up and down it.It needs to be operational with one hand as I imagine our lass will have hold of him on the lead with the other hand.

Seen them online but want to know if anyone else has one?Crap ya dog getting really old like.

Ne pissing about on this thread taking the piss as it’s serious.

I built one for our lasses Lab when it was knackered, it had hip displacia. It really struggled with the back steps and the ramp was no better in all fairness as it was almost impossible to get the angle down far enough.

There’s some cheap ones around, buy one and try it is my advice before resorting to getting her a motorbike and sidecar.

can ya not just knock something up out of some wood like gilly just put some lats across so doesn’t slip or would it be too steep

There is.

They all look cumbersome and steep as owt.

Hoping someone would have some experience of one.
I got one of these:

You can take a section out if it’s too long. Not very heavy and folds up nicely. I recommend them
Ended up buying a wider one, (my dogs are a bit bigger than yours).
- They are a lot cheaper here, not sure why that is.
