Dog names….

Call it Joe ,after Joe cocker !¡!!!

Our oldest son is called joe so that is out. I had suggested Jarvis but that was shot down.
I like human names for dogs. Bob was my favourite dog name. Current one is called Charlie.

There's a dog lives nearby called Alan.

We had that conversation, do we go with a human name or a dog name, I think some transfer between both though, our mates dog is Barney and my brothers dog is Charlie.

We’re off to pick up a new pup tomorrow afternoon(lovely little cocker) but completely drawing a blank on a name. So far we have Stan
Bert(Bertie)
Gus
Alfie
Beck
Bexley

I’m absolutely terrible at this sort of thing, the wife likes Stan but I’m not made up. Our last dog was called max which is hard to beat for a dog name. I need some suggestions/inspiration before we go and pick him up tomorrow others he’ll leave being called pup as he is now. He’s a golden colour if that helps.
Alfie sounds great marra.
Bit of the "cheeky chappie" about it.
And having a Cocker myself (Bobby), they certainly have plenty of that.
You are in for an absolute treat buddy.
They are nuts, but pick up training really quickly, but be prepared for some hard work and lots of FUN.
Put the work in early and you will end up with an absolute diamond marra.
Lucky you.👍👍👍
