I have found that the smoking ban has done much to improve things for dog owners. There are way more outside facilities now which tend to allow dogs.

Little Biddick, you can take him in the beer garden or sit out on one of the benches by the river.

Yee out the day?
I'm going up The Front Street later.
There'll be plenty of dogs up there

Spec - Dogs.
Foresters - Dogs.
New Inn - Dogs.
'Spoons - Dogs.

Might have one in the Cross Keys first, like. On the way up - Dogs.

Nah, too much to do.

If the weather is alright on Wednesday me and Mr Dodgy fancy spending a day out somewhere with the hound. We've got transport so it's not really important for the place to be right on our doorstep but also not ridiculously far away either.

Maybe a walk somewhere and then somewhere we can stop off for a bit to eat and a drink outside which is dog friendly of course.

Any sugggestions of some nice places?

Has to be the best ever dog friendly place I have been to

Hamsterly Forest.

nice walks - beware the orange one - its advertised as about 4 and half miles but i recon its nearer 7.

plenty pubs doing food up there, or visit the cafe at The Dales Centre, its quite nice.

another one for hamsterley - great walks whatever the weather.

Pack a picnic and you can stay all day
