They'll be knocking on maggys door again

" that nasty manager not treating us right " ;)

You forgot to add---with a pet lip. :D

Hes a smart cookie is Sam, he's using methods which leave players with no "ducking" room. Cold hard facts with no scope for argument or denial. No room for " I AM trying boss, honest----"

My optimism is coming back---- At the end of the day, overpaid and lazy or not, they all love playing football in the spotlight, so surely human nature would indicate they'll get sick of sitting on the bench just watching.

I like it------:)

As long as the players tak it on board and not throw their dummies out like they did with PDC

Well, that's the side of him that has had supporters of most clubs he's managed wanting rid of him........graft over flair.......it's going to be dull as fuck.

At least he's not just written him off completely i suppose.....but we need our best (most talented) players on the pitch at all times.....regardless of what the charts and graphs say.

Yes, but I think there's a difference. When it's proven with hard facts that they're not working hard enough, it will dent their pride IMO, coz nobody will want it PROVEN that they are lazy. Thats embarrassing. If they spit dummies out they will look pretty silly when he says " Whats your argument? There are the facts-----"

"With each position, I have the levels of an elite performer and an average performer for a Premier League player.

“It’s easy for me to monitor.

“It’s not just Jeremain, but some of our players have been told that they haven’t reached the average and I expect them to reach that average very quickly."

Good to see our players are being monitored so closely now. Hopefully they take the hint and up their games more frequently than the final 6-7 weeks of the season.

They also need to play to their full potential, and in some cases clearly they aren't. Even an average player can improve his game by working harder, it may just give them that edge needed, especially with the small margins in the premier league. Every little helps. I don't think a kick up the arse every now and again ever did anyone any harm. More so when you consider what's at stake.

So even if a player is wilfully not tracking back as instructed and leaving his full back exposed we keep on playing him. Doesn't exactly send out the right signals though, does it. The very least we should expect from players we make millionaires is that they come off the pitch having given everything they have.
