EDIT: Hmm odd. Works when you send it in messenger. But you can open the link up from there and send GPS coordinates from that link.

That's ideal, I can't seem to put it in a post though.
I just get this:

I dont know if you are copying a frame or soemthing ,which means it doesn't show correctly.
When i take away everything else and just keep the adress of your post it works fine

I was using the share link on the map, then posting the code using the HTML button on here. What I want is an interactive map on a post, rather than a link.

You can't post html on the message boards. This is to stop people posting malicious scripts etc.

I can create "bb codes" for snippets like that if they were going to be used regularly, but looking at that site I really need to look into their pricing/licensing options to make sure we don't fall foul of them.

Google maps used to be the way it was done, but they got rid of the APIs we used to use. There are new APIs but I don't think they offer the same functions.

Put a map on a stickied post so posters can pin good photography locations to share with the rest of us.

It would have to be visible on the post, rather than a link or it would never get used.

If you put it on a site instead of on here are you allowed to use google maps?
