Does anyone but grayson really believe this?

Moan when Moyes says we are doomed to a relegation battle after one game and hes condemned as negative. Next manager tries to be positive and is shot down.

What do you expect him to say exactly?
There is a middle ground to be had ffs.

His entire strategy is built around a target man yet we werent even linked with one!

Exceptional talent and people desperate to come here is a clear lie, even the club website says deals were completed in the final minutes of the window in an attemp to hype them up.

Loans and short term contracts so we can be in the same boat in 12 months time doesnt show me anything but short sightedness and desperation.

We're skint and ya still blethering on. Give it a rest man your lot have far more to worry about.

If you showed me the players we have signed at the start of pre-season I would of thought it was a poor pre-season. If you said we got these players but Graysons budget was approx. 1.25m I'd of thought he did well

Grayson is trying to be as positive as he can be and there is nothing wrong with that, it is much more preferable than the way Moyes went on last season and the countless other managers we've had who made excuse after excuse.

Ultimately though Grayson will rightfully be judged by how well we do on the pitch, each supporters expectations for the season will probably mean this board will be split on how good / bad of a job he is going as the season progresses

I mean on the constant twisting of anything he says.
It is a strange discussion forum this one. Discussing what the manager has said isn't actually tolerated.

It's all a bit 'support the team not the regime' on here.

I find it strange when people can find faults when there aren't really any. Even stranger when it's the same poster doing it (very) regularly. It isn't even constructive criticism

Is it bollocks, the team get it right in the neck. Just have a look on here on a matchday.
That's just the usual defeat meltdown.

Aside from that there's no desire on here to discuss what the manager has said week to week.

He's getting on my nerves personally.

He insists we don't need a striker and never did and this line about players being desperate to come every week is really irritating.

Whatever he's doing he's not doing a good job for us like
19th!!
I said he didn't say a lot wrong not he's doing a good job but now you mention it I'll reserve judgement until December not 5 games into the season

"I am pleased with it. A lot of clubs have spent more money but I am pleased with what we have brought in. We have got some exceptional talent. If you are in the right market with the right contacts you can get quality players.

"The players couldn't get here quick enough when we mentioned it to them. They want to show people what good players we are. Players have come here too often for the wrong reasons."
