Dodds presser comments

Without being Mr pedantic and apologize if it seems like that but -does that mean 7 “ hello are you interested ?”or 7 “ have had an formal interview ?”
"7 interviewed".
That just comes across as it being an unorganised mess. They sacked Mowbray, you would have thought they’d have it down to 2-3, if not already having someone lined up.
Sorry mate...nowt to do with me

In all seriousness I think you do need to tick that box nowadays.
Managers tend to go in cycles.

Ferguson is doing great, demand for Scottish managers.

Mourinho is good, Portuguese managers are in vogue.

Unfortunately no black managers have done much at the highest level of the game or even a lower level. Therefore there's not much demand for them.

Aye but I think they actually brought it into the rules that you have to interview at least 1 black candidate, copying the NFL's "Rooney Rule."
Not a chance.

If he cant set us up to beat Doncaster Rovers the writing is on the wall for the WBA game and any others he takes charge of.
I do think we're likely to get beat, WBA are on form and they have a very good manager, but this is different to that. We were a defensive shambles leading up to that game, this time around it's been fine margins why results haven't been great.

Worried me the way he was saying these games were already planned for under Mowbary and that the Leeds game is already planned for to. Seems like nothing will change at all in the way we actually try to create and score a goal and it makes it seem like no matter what happens during or after this weekends game we already know how we will play against Leeds so won’t try to change what we do. He said we know how we are going to play for the next 2 or 3 games whether that’s me or someone else. You can’t hire a new manager and then tell them how to play

Wow, they’ve been busy. Would rather they were thorough rather than knee-jerk. At the same time hopefully they’ve learned their lesson from the pre Neil gap, which obvs hurt us.
So thorough and quick please😂
They've had this list since the summer, 100% they were close to binning moga in the summer so will have had their list sitting waiting for their chance to peddle him.

Possibly, I'm not sure?

Bottom line is there isn't a black manager bar Vieira I'd want anywhere near our job. That not racism, it's personal choice based on performance.

The likes of Ince, Hasslebank and others have failed badly at our level.

This is Sunderland, I still remember chanting ‘Brian Cloughs red & white army’ at Roker Park when Terry Butcher got sacked….We ended up with Mick Buxton. I’m not ruling out Dodds as I don’t think he has ruled himself out. If Burstow scores a hat trick tomorrow it will be down to Dodds and his one or two tweaks. Watch this space.

He did also say he's made various adjustments and changed things in training this week around shot conversion etc...

"We have tweaked one or two things in terms of the processes.

"We have tweaked one or two things that we have done in training and that has just been a personal preference really.

"I would say the group are down or are flat. I have just tweaked a few things that I felt were appropriate."

"One thing we spoke about with the players was the shot conversion and chance conversion,. That is something we've spoke about and worked on this week.

"For each game there will be changes for each game 100 per cent."

If he even gets one of the strikers to score, he's already done the new manager a favour, regardless of whether he wins the next two.

If that’s right we could be looking at the back end of next week before the appoint.

7 interviews than a couple of second round interviews early next week….. appointment next Thursday/Friday
Would tally in on my prediction (Not source) that they want the west brom and Leeds games out the way for the new manager to start with
