Do the Scots actually hate the English?

But you only quote me on one thread a week by your own admission, you have done it twice in two days you senile twat, i think a man of your age and stupidity should quit while behind
Whatever you say, Officer.
Senile, age, stupidity and still run rings round you, Officer.

I had some trouble in an Edinburgh pub once simply because I was English. I also had a bit of bother on holiday in 1998 in Majorca with a bunch of Scot bullies when the WC was on.
Some of them do dislike us tremendously, but as they say there are good and bad in all walks of life. Their dislike of us is a lot more than our disinterest in them.
This - they are a Boro and it winds them up more that we dont really care that much. If the SNP really want independence they should have campaigned for all of the UK to have a vote- they would have won by a landslide.

I might be in a minority, but I really like Scotland. I can only go on my own experience and have always been made to feel very welcome. I'm sure coming from the North East has helped a bit.

I like to see Scotland do well in football. World Cup and Euros are always better when Scotland are there. The fans are great, have a party, and it makes watching a match better when it is a country close to home. Don't get me wrong, want to see England beat Scotland. Would be taking the piss to state owt else. However, lovely place to go, have always been treat well and have a respect for the place.

I like Scotland as well. I hate seeing them win at sport though

Me too, until that unsavoury incident in 1998. Always wanted Scotland to win their matches unless it was against us. My great grandad and grandma were born in Dalkeith and lived and worked in Edinburgh before ending up in Chester le Street. Unless you have experienced their anti English stance you will never know. It changed my opinion of Scots.

If that is what you think. Dont forget to take your meds
Are you one of those knob heads who think if you have the last word you have won ?
You are a joke, especially so given what you do for a living.

One of those hands up moments and have never come across it. Understand your point of view, marra

I just like you replying because you never fail to make an idiot of yourself, carry on gramps

Homophobic and xenophobic, you really are an old man aren't you?

Every time I read a thread like this my mind automatically drifts to that famous quote by Edward Longshanks (the hammer of the Scots) after he had just crossed the border into England after handing out an arse kicking to our Celtic neighbours:

"It does a man good, to get shot of a turd".

Not my argument but I can only assume you aren't a proper officer if you plough headlong into an argument and call people tw#ts Hardly professional or conduct becoming..

Inferiority complex

The reverse could be said of many on here.

Always amazing me when a thread pops up on here talking about Scots hating the English. Quickly followed by a variety of posters slating Scotland.

It's no worse one way than the other.

The poor one's do..not so much the wealthy

Probably on to something. Specifically the ones who don't venture far from where they were born.

True to a certain extent. I used to go out with a scottish bird and spent a lot of time in stirling, the locals hated me because i was english. You do get it the other way around but not as much from my experience
